This is Pageant Princess, Megan Small.
Recently awarded Miss Broward County, FL.
Although she doesn't model, she did great posing for my camera.
We shot from 10am to 1pm.
After, we had lunch at this amazing thai joint called "Lemongrass".
But that's besides the point..
The shoot went really well, even though it was 100degrees outside!
OH! We even got a life guard to help us out,
He was a bit reluctant at first
But Megan used her pageant charm to win him over.

This is Tanya, a true artist.
She's a painter, photographer and clothing designer who also does make up and hair styling.
Her paintings tell stories, and her clothing design is fresh.
It was my pleasure to play "Creative Director" and double as her photographer.
Believe it or not, I was inspired by her room.
Her private space brought out a great sense of creativity and spunk.
Literally every corner of her room was a spot for simply, creating.
A few mannequins with patterns hanging from Them tucked in one corner,
Finished and unfinished paintings in another,
a sewing machine on a big wooden desk with sketches scattered around,
and tucked away next to a small window
was her easel and paint where she claims to do the most "creating".
Normally, my clients tell me what they want to bring out in their photos.
But i also like to take each of my clients out of their comfort zone if they would let me.
She was a tad bit insecure about taking her earrings off and giving me a "dark side".
"I look like a boy, I look like a boy!" she told me.
But she went on and had fun with it. Here are a few shots

I was happy to help him along with his portfolio.
Photographing in union squares ally ways and public parks was great.
We even had a small audience gather around to watch the shoot.

These twins knew exactly what they wanted to portray
and I couldnt have been any more on the same page.
It was burning hot outside but they fought the sweat and bugs while striking each pose perfectly.
I met them on the spot and we shot after a few miniutes of Conversing.
These twins are bloggers and up-comming fashion designers.
